7 habits and us

We all keep talking about india should have this, india should have that, this should be done in india, that should be done . and to add to all that we all Talk about india going to be developed country (please mind that being developed don’t only means enough roads,enough power,enough industry,like Infosys success don’t makes it, its about overall quality of life!)

I talk about developed society! When are we going to stop adoring green pastures be like the developed society. We will, we will but How soon? Well this is something open for discussion.

Recently we had discussion about famous 7 habits of Highly effective people, and reading about them my thoughts went back again to our country,

Can these habits listed by Dr Covey help us do some introspection?

I think they can, and they can do it a lot.

Dr Covey talks about being proactive. Just look around ourselves folks, how much we really care about being proactive?

I don’t have to be a good analyst to say, that WE simply Don’t care!! Be it about small part of level of our throwing waste in open or habit of spitting, misuse and mismanagement of public utilities or our cities expansions, or for that matter in our roads, look anywhere.. We can almost spot it anywhere. (Of course there are glowing exceptions like the Metro!)

But yes Indians are very good and very very proactive in one respect that is in planning the futures of their kin and kith. It will be hard to find any Indian house hold which doesn’t have a future plan for some kind of security in any form they can. It is of course very good feature, but what happens when the same kind of proactivity is asked by nation.

When we live in our country, it seems to us to be very difficult discipline if there is ban on spitting or littering, but when we go to Singapore or some western country, we follow the rules! Don’t we?

Do we lack some gut feeling for our country? I don’t know, but I am searching for answers.

and doing tantrums before world of being a mourner...
and mom of child is stitching her lips as if she doesnt knows anything.
this all is happening when the deceased child was the lonely child of the couple.

what does this tells us of the relationships od humans, how should we judge them , by names or by the conduct of character ?
this is an open question to those who advise and advocate blind surrender to names of relations , be it a married life, be it a parental relations , or be it siblings.

and will also continue to stealthly visit the brothels to satisfy the animal lust with indian FEMALES without being caring the culture .

modern indian racism ..

these days it is hot talk among indian youth about the kind of topic that i beleive easily qualifies to be called indian racism; when all world had formally denounced all forms of it.
it is called into local name as "CASTE" ..
while every group tries all efforts to make superior claims; in due course of time with all tactics , few succeed.
by this various groups of people living in hindu indian society divide themselves and form a almost close user group for exchange and social development .while doing so they always ensure that no opportunity is given to any outsider person as much as possible, and thus
this system over the ages makes many of persons into members of families makes dynasties of grown up and exclusively educated classes.
by default they began to claim their merit in due time therby marking all others into non merit people of society.
by same logic as above , there is certain greater classes of people who get into the down side of this madness and thus over the ages transform into cheap manpower type status in society, therby labelled as unfit for any upliftment by those who are in the other side.

but since last few decades , some political people have waken up the sleeping man power type social classes of groups and thus instilled a sense of superiority of their groups,by virtue of numbers, because numbers makes the government in indian democracy.

So goverment makers have taken the hint and thus activated the promises of better upliftment of alleged non merit and man power classes.
In indian context it is called ..
RESERVATION.
method of giving preference to non merit people in all educational and job opportuinities both by governments and judicial courts of india.
now quite logically alleged merit people are soooo.. angry over the loss of merit
it is just as if a black man in old European society is given a right to not only sit and enjoy in elite white society ,but he is also having given a preference to be in dance with beautiful blonde !!

so now ..i wonder what is the options before the alleged merit class of india, they dislike the CASTE based reservation as they dislike hell, but ironically they dont dislike the CASTE' s existance .
its just like hating to see that blacks are given a special preference to all facilities while not hating to be called WHITE !! funny distorted logic ..isn't it.

but recently there were two very great adjectives offered as a tribute to indian society by FREE PRESS
news channels.
one was the news of opposition of a housing society members to coming of a new member in house of apartments after payng the money on the basis that he is not belonging to the particular religion ?
place of occurance is called as PUNE.

second is a happening when a suburban school students are told by their parents not to eat the food cooked in meal programmee , why ?
not because it is proved unhygienic or like that ..but because it is cooked by certain sections divisons of society ..
the palce this time is MADHYA PRADESH.
